Ski transfer questions
How far is Engelberg from Lucerne?
About 40 minutes and 35 kilometers on a clear road, to the Titlis valley station or your hotel in the village. On weekends with fresh snow we allow a little more time.
Can you get to Andermatt when the passes are closed?
Yes. We take the A2 to Göschenen and drive up through the Schöllenen gorge, about an hour from Lucerne. Only the Oberalp and Furka passes close in winter.
How do we get to Zermatt by taxi?
Zermatt is car-free, so our ride ends at the Matterhorn Terminal in Täsch. The shuttle train takes you into the village in twelve minutes. From Lucerne it is a little over three hours in winter.
How many skis and snowboards fit in the car?
That depends on the vehicle. When you book, tell us the number of people, ski bags and board bags. For a whole group with gear, the eight-seat minibus is the one to choose.
Will you pick us up at the valley station in the evening?
Yes, at the time we agree. Since the drive from Lucerne takes a while, it helps to give us the time when you book. Otherwise, call us as soon as you are finished.
Can we go straight from the airport to the resort?
Yes, from Zurich, Basel or Geneva, and we track your flight. From Zurich Airport you reach Engelberg in about 78 minutes, with all your luggage in the car.
How much does a ski transfer from Lucerne cost?
It depends on the resort and the vehicle. Online you see the total before your last click. By phone you hear it together with the drive time, before anyone gets in.
Do you drive early enough for the first lift?
Yes, we drive around the clock. Tell us when the first lift opens, and we set the pickup time so you are at the valley station with time to spare.
Which other ski resorts do you drive to?
Melchsee-Frutt, Stoos, Sörenberg and Andermatt nearby, plus Flims, Lenzerheide and St. Moritz in Graubünden and Zermatt in Valais. For anywhere else, just name it when you book.
Can I cancel my ski transfer for free?
Yes, cancel up to a day before pickup and you pay nothing. If your ski day moves or someone else joins, one call is enough and we change the booking.
